Poltrona Frau - Armchair (2) - Juliet - Wood, Leather

The Juliet armchair is the symbol of Poltrona Frau's centenary, winning the international design competition organized by the company for its first century. With Juliet, Benjamin Hubert revisits the classic capitonné with a soft and fluid version, embellished with original pleated stitching on the inside, reminiscent of the embroidery and gathers of women's bodies and sleeves, creating a multifaceted pattern that energizes the surface. The Juliet armchair has a traditional wooden frame, narrower at the base, then widens towards the seat. Its rich upholstery, rich in pleats and stitching, invites relaxation. The frame is made of solid beech with a birch plywood base. The seat is suspended by elastic straps. The seat and backrest are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. The armchair is upholstered in Pelle Frau leather with an innovative pleated stitching pattern on the inside of the seat and backrest.
