Louis-Philippe round table with flaps, solid wood, turned fluted legs, 19th century.
Beautiful dining table from the Louis-Philippe period, mid-19th century, made of solid wood. Round top with two drop leaves: when the leaves are down, it discreetly fits against a wall or in a small room; when the leaves are raised, it becomes a true round table for entertaining. A practical and elegant solution, ideal for Parisian interiors. It rests on turned and fluted legs, finely crafted, two of which pivot to support the leaves. Lovely old patina with warm tones. Original fittings and mechanisms visible under the top. Condition: good used condition, in line with its age. Signs of wear and small imperfections that add to the charm of an antique piece. Leaves and mechanisms are functional. Collection / delivery. To be collected in Paris or delivered via Selency. Recommended price according to expertise: €500.
