Wall entrance bell with bracket

This pretty bell in gold metal, brass perhaps, will replace an electric doorbell and will above all be more decorative! Given the shape of the nuts which hold it in place on its stem, and which we find on a lot of furniture, particularly trolleys, I would say that it dates from the 70s. It is in good structural condition, very solid because it is made of metal thick, but the latter shows signs of its age: it is a little pitted and has various and relatively numerous marks and scratches, the hook inside which holds the chime has superficial corrosion but remains solid. The bell measures 12.5 cm in diameter with a height of 13 cm. The whole thing weighs around 700g.
