Two-bay oak wall unit by Sven Andersen, Norway 1970

This two-bay wall unit in oak was designed by sven andersen in norway in the 1970s. It is a modular shelving system and one can arrange all the parts by ones will. The set consists of: – one glass doors cabinet h: 39cm / w: 80cm / d: 25cm, with 1 adjustable glass shelf. – one cabinet with a drawer and storage with sliding doors h: 45cm / w: 80cm / d: 37cm. Three shelves, 28 cm d. One display shelf for plates, or vinyls. – three wood rails 172cm long each. The shelves and cabinets mount using hooks on the back into the metal pegs hidden in the wooden rails. Overall in great original vintage condition with a nice patina and minimal scratches on its lacquered surface. This is a great example of scandinavian carpentry skills from mid 20th century.
