Murano glass bowl/ashtray/tray. Mid-century item designed by flavio poli (italy, 1960s). Made of thick blue and green glass. Extremely decorative. Quite heavy (1.4 kg). Works well as a small bowl, a tray, or as an ashtray. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Height: 7 cm/2.8''; width: 17 cm/6.7''; depth: 15 cm/5.9''. Very good vintage condition. "sommerso" (italian for "submerged") is a technique developed in murano in the 1930s that became very popular in the 1950s/60s. The result is glass with contrasting colors.
