Large stoneware pitcher, sober and subtle, with elaborate and generous glaze. Object of high quality, it can be integrated into many interiors: mediterranean, bohemian or predominantly ochre, obviously, but also design, minimalist or modern thanks to its shape and as long as the play of color lends itself to it. Finally, it is possible to give it a dark, nostalgic or disturbing appearance by plunging it into a gothic, macabre interior or a cabinet of curiosities. It can also be transformed into a vase in some settings (dried flowers for a macabre décor, bright and green flowers in a bohemian interior). Geneviève baptendier (1947 - 2014) is a ceramist student of annie fourmanoir and having worked in her two workshops (in poitou and in the paris region). She worked with laurence molinard. Signature "gblm" on the bottom. Nineties. 25.5 cm high. 19 cm long with handle. 15 cm wide. 1.2 kg. Very good condition.
