Flower pots, Provençal pottery in glazed terracotta.

Here are two very beautiful and original glazed terracotta pots. Although they are of different shapes and sizes, they surely come from the same pottery workshop, perhaps a pottery in Provence or the southwest, where this type of very colourful glazing was often seen in the second half of the 20th century. In addition to this "variegated" glazing, mustard yellow, chocolate brown, and a few touches of olive green and orange, they also share this wide "stamped" relief band. They have no markings, making it difficult to date them precisely, but they testify to a beautiful artisanal work of turning, shaping, and glazing. They are in very good condition, with no cracks, chips, or even a scratch. They are pierced with a hole to drain any excess water. The larger one measures 20 cm in maximum diameter and 14 cm in height. The smaller one measures 16 cm in maximum diameter and 10 cm in height.
