Ercol rocking chair

This very beautiful piece is the Ercol Rocking Chair. It was designed in the 1950s (probably 1957) by Luciano Ercolani for Ercol. Form and function merge in a perfect combination, adding extra value to the use of elm. Furthermore, elm as a material gives the design a unique character due to the colour and quality of the wood. This mid-century Ercol rocking chair is made of light brown elm with a reupholstered cream linen seat cushion. This Ercol rocking chair is an older model; the new ones are often made of beech or oak. It is splendid and in superb condition. ♻️ Like all our treasures, it has been cleaned, restored, and varnished for great longevity over time. The Ercol logo is visible under the seat. You can use it as an accent chair in your living room, a conservatory, or a bedroom with its elegant curves.
