A set of four pine-frame chairs with a straw-trimmed, wallet-style seat and a double-banded backrest by Pierre Gauthier Delaye, made in France in the 1950s for Meubles Weekend. Vintage brutalist work, French-made in the 1950s. Chalet style in the style of Charles Dudouyt or Charlotte Perriand. Very good condition. A lovely patina of age.
