Baumann caned gondola chair

Baumann's vintage chair, "gondola" model, is distinguished by its curved lines, particularly those of its large openwork backrest. Beech structure. Circa 1970 this beautiful curved arch extends and becomes more refined to form the rear legs. The seat is screwed into the belt, and not on it, resting on the front crosspiece and on a lug at the back. The fluid and refined lines of the baumann gondola chair are somewhat reminiscent of those of the scandinavian style, ideal for contemporary furnishings. Robust and well made, it will last over time.
