Extensible table model Cirkante by Van den Berghe and its four chairs.

Very beautiful extendable table (6-->12), purchased new around 2001 from a high-end design furniture store in Bastille. It is sold with its 4 matching chairs. Wood: maple. Legs: aluminum. Central top: polished black granite (for placing hot dishes directly). The tabletop and its extension system correspond to the Cirkante model, designed by Bob & Dries Van den Berghe and published by Tranekaer. The Danish Design Museum lists this unique model, which is a partnership with Marc Berthier, who designed the aluminum legs for Magis, which is one of the options for the Cirkante table that can have four different bases, according to the museum's information. This Van den Berghe/Marc Berthier model is also visible at several Danish auctions. Therefore, it is not a hybrid or a DIY project but rather a limited series model created by Van den Berghe. Overall very good condition considering its age, with some normal signs of use. The varnish is impeccable. The 4 matching chairs are also in very good condition. They also have a label certifying their authenticity (see photos).
