Scandinavian style armchair (Windsor spirit),

Scandinavian-style armchair (Windsor spirit), 1950s-60s, made of stained solid wood (beech or elm). Rounded backrest with fine, tapered slats, strung seat (woven with jute/cotton elastic straps), curved wooden armrests, tapered compass legs ending in pads. The seat is currently bare/to be redone — in the photo, the strapping is shown but without a cushion. This type of armchair recalls the Scandinavian or French production of the 50s-60s (in the spirit of Ercol, Baumann, or unsigned regional manufacturers). Used condition with a beautiful patina.
