Very nice vintage stoneware pot/vase from Betschdorf, signed TA Gilbert. Handcrafted relief decoration featuring cobalt blue olives and green foliage on a textured bluish-grey background. Beautiful quality typical of Alsatian ceramics from Betschdorf. Engraved signature under the base: “TA Gilbert – Betschdorf.” Ideal piece for: chic country decoration, vintage interior, Alsatian home, Betschdorf stoneware collection, elegant rustic decor. Materials: turned and hand-glazed stoneware. Slightly granulated/speckled exterior texture characteristic of Alsace/Betschdorf stoneware productions. Dimensions: height: approximately 13 cm, diameter: approximately 10 cm. Very good overall condition, however, there are some marks on one side, see photos. No visible cracks or chips. An authentic and decorative piece, perfect for a country kitchen or vintage interior. Can be used as a vase, plant pot, utensil holder, or decorative object. Vintage 1970s.
