Antique prayer chair (prie-Dieu) in carved wood, in neo-Gothic style. Very beautiful openwork backrest decorated with a central cross, Gothic arches, and floral motifs. Twisted columns and seat upholstered in black velvet. Religious or chapel furniture probably dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. Used condition with signs of age, wear on the fabric and black finish visible in the photos. Solid structure and complete decoration. Ideal for Gothic decoration, character homes, religious furniture collections, or staging.
