Biot bubble glass salad bowl

Very beautiful salad bowl in bubbled glass in olive khaki color with a pretty simple and elegant shape, whose diameter narrows slightly towards the top (impossible to render with my camera which slightly distorts reality). When I was hunting for it, an antique dealer who was passing by told me that it came from the biot glassworks, quite sure of himself, to which I replied that it was not marked biot and that the company, which I contacted some time ago for another piece, told me that the pieces leaving the biot glassworks were systematically signed. But the antique dealer then told me that the pieces with imperfections still left the workshop (by the employees most often) but not marked biot. And it is true that this salad bowl has imperfections that I will detail for you. So i'll let you be the judge, biot or not biot, that is the question...or not so much, since this piece is very pretty. The general condition of this salad bowl is good, no cracks, no chips, but an original defect that is repeated throughout the bowl: extremely fine lines, like cracks but included in the material, in the glass, which start from the bubbles and spread all around, each line seeming to be composed of millions of microbubbles. For my part, I find that this does not spoil the piece, because on the one hand it is only visible very close up and in a rather dark environment (see the close-up photos, taken away from strong light to best show you the phenomenon) and on the other hand it also testifies to a facet of artistic craftsmanship: it is a very precise, very complicated work, which sometimes, we do not know why, gives a different result than the one hoped for, than the one obtained in "normal" times. This salad bowl measures 20.5 cm in diameter at the opening, approximately 22 cm in maximum diameter, 13 cm in height.
