Exclusive Italian Nightstand / Side Table – Style of Ico Parisi, 1950's

This exceptional piece of 1950s Italian design is a rare and striking example of mid-century modern craftsmanship. Reflecting the sophisticated aesthetic of the Italian avant-garde, the design features strong characteristics attributed to the circle of iconic architect and designer Ico Parisi, closely aligning with high-end productions from the Cantù region. Due to its architectural shape, this versatile object serves beautifully as a sculptural nightstand, a statement side table, or an exclusive media/audio rack. The piece features a sleek, seamlessly integrated front panel that pulls out smoothly to reveal a practical sliding drawer, preserving the clean architectural lines of the silhouette when closed. The deep, dynamically shaped wooden body showcases a rich and warm grain pattern. Its floating appearance is emphasized by the slender, minimalist base crafted from black lacquered metal, subtly accented with solid brass structural rods and brass feet. The original suspended glass shelf at the top completes the refined, three-dimensional interplay of lines.
