Vintage design Murano Sommerso glass bowl vase by Flavio Poli, 1970s

Mid-century glass bowl made of Sommerso glass by Flavio Poli, 1970s. Solid green and yellow glass bowl with multi-layered Sommerso glass. The rectangular base is heavily faceted and polished on the outside. Inside is a deeply molded, rounded rectangular basin. The different glass colors, wall thicknesses, and polished surfaces create striking visual effects depending on the viewing angle.
