Superb vintage coffee table made of genuine marble, a true architectural piece at the intersection of the brutalist movement and postmodern design from the 70s and 80s. This centrepiece stands out for the exceptional beauty of its stone. The top features a spectacular natural veining with deep black, anthracite, mineral grey, and white swirls. Its lines are of great purity: a large rectangular top resting on a solid central block base. This "totem" design visually lightens the table while giving it a presence worthy of an art gallery. It fits perfectly into a sharp decor, whether ultra-contemporary to add character, or in a "Mix & Match" interior with tubular furniture or classic wood. Technical details: Material: Polished solid marble. Era: 1970s - 1980s. Structure: The table consists of two distinct elements (the top rests stably on its central base) for safer transport. Dimensions: Length: 109.5 cm. Depth: 54.5 cm. Height: 37.5 cm. Weight: 61 kg (Very dense and high-quality piece). Condition: Very good overall vintage conservation. The stone has been carefully cleaned and retains a beautiful shine. To note transparently: An old transverse crack on the top has undergone a professional restoration. It has been filled very neatly, is smooth to the touch and solid (see close-up detail photos), but remains visually noticeable depending on the angle of light. It is part of the history of this 40-year-old piece.
