Danish armchair from the 1940s, entirely original. An elegant model from the Danish modernist school, characterised by its curved solid wood armrests, enveloping backrest, and perfectly balanced proportions. The armchair is preserved in its original condition: vintage fabric, padding, structure, and period finishes, with no restoration. The natural patina of the textile and wood attests to its authenticity. A beautiful example of Danish production from the 1940s, in the spirit of the workshops in Copenhagen and the school of Kaare Klint. A collectible piece, both comfortable and decorative, ideal for a contemporary interior or a Scandinavian design collection. Dimensions: W 60 × D 60 × H 83 cm. Structure: solid wood. Armrests: curved solid wood, continuous, enveloping shape. Seat & backrest: strictly original padding and fabric. Fabric: thick vintage textile (wool or wool blend), duck blue. Legs: tapered with original metal caps. Base: original nailed panel. Condition: very good used condition, patina consistent with age. Restoration: none, never restored.
