Mid-century Savonarola chairs and stool in cherry red velvet

Very elegent and stylish pair of savonarola chairs with matching stool. The chairs are from the 1960s and upholstered in a cherry red velvet. The seats and backrest are fixed to a black metal frame that is still in a very good condition, but I guess some people probably think the fabric could use a little love. However, I will pass this decision on to the new owner so that he or she can choose the colour according to their own wishes. For me, the seats are just fine the way they are. The chairs and stool are richely decorated with copper elements. Unfortunately I do not know who the designer or manufacturer is, but the chairs and stool are most probably of french or italian origin. Chair = h X w X d = 85-45 X 63 X 55 cm / 33.5-17.7 X 24.8 X 21.7 inch. Stool = h X w X d = 50 X 50 X 45 / 19.7 X 19.7 X 17.7 inch.
