Set of 4 chairs, F. Jirak, Czechoslovakia, 1960s

A set of four chairs designed by Frantisk Jirak for the Czechoslovakian Tatra Nabytok factory. The chairs are made of plywood veneered with natural veneer in a warm oak color, with very nice graining. The chair designs are stable, screws are not corroded, very well preserved specimens. They have traces of use: scratches on the back of the backrests and slight discoloration on the bottom of the legs, upholstery slightly worn (all shown in the pictures). The pillows have been sewn again, of dark gray material with a visible weave. The seat is upholstered and the additional is applied.
