Large vintage Mepal Service Rosti plate – Adolfo Opel – Orange – years

Very beautiful large vintage Mepal Rosti Service dish, designed by Adolfo Opel, in a superb shiny retro orange. A piece with a very graphic seventies design, featuring its generous shape, rounded lines, and wavy edges. Its bright orange colour immediately adds a true decorative presence. The underside is marked: MEPAL SERVICE RÖSTI PER ALIMENTI 358 / 280 / 51 LIC. DENMARK DESIGNED BY A. OPEL. The model is attributed to designer Adolfo Opel, whose name appears on various Mepal Service creations from this period. Dimensions approximately 35.5 × 28 × 5 cm. The format is ideal as a large serving platter, serving dish, fruit tray, or decorative piece. Overall good vintage condition. The orange colour and shiny finish are very well preserved. Some signs of wear are present on the bottom of the dish, visible in the photo and consistent with its age and use. Made in Italy, this tray stands out for its organic, fluid, and asymmetrical shape, very characteristic of the Space Age style of that time. A beautiful piece for lovers of vintage design, Mepal Rosti, and seventies aesthetics, with original marking and the designer's signature.
