Covered soup tureen in Italian ceramic — Capodimonte style, applied roses.

Imposing covered soup tureen in glazed ivory white ceramic, in the grand decorative style of post-war Italian production. Two side handles in rococo scrolls frame a rounded body adorned with blooming roses and floral buds, modelled and applied by hand, in shades of pink and golden yellow, enhanced with veined green foliage. The conical lid, crowned with an elegant turned finial, features the same floral decoration. The entire body is rhythmically decorated with reliefs of acanthus leaves, fluting, and gadroons. The piece rests on a moulded annular base. Italian production in the tradition of the Capodimonte style, 1950s–1970s, intended for the decorative market and European export. Unmarked base, characteristic of this semi-artisanal production. A decorative piece of character, ideal as a centrepiece or as part of a vintage composition.
