Stoneware jug and cups by Jean Dubost

A baker's jug and four brown glazed stoneware cups. Signed on the reverse by the Jean Dubost workshop, Noron-la-Poterie, Calvados, circa 1970. Jar dimensions: H 12.5 x Ø 17 cm. Cup dimensions: H 10 x Ø 8 cm. Three identical cups, one chipped (see photo), and one similar cup. All are signed. When Jean Dubosc took over Bernard Guitton's workshop in 1966, he continued the traditional production methods, preserving the centuries-old expertise of Norman stoneware.
