This set of 8 Danish teak chairs was designed in the early 1950s by Aksel Bender Madsen and Ejnar Larsen and produced by Willy Beck in Denmark. The chairs embody Danish modernism in its most accessible form: elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully detailed, without ever becoming formal or aloof. The slender teak frames have a warm, refined look and flow smoothly into the slightly tapered legs. The seats and backrests are generously shaped and upholstered in black leather, which contrasts beautifully with the wood and provides pleasant seating comfort. The slightly curved backrest supports the back naturally, making these chairs ideal for long dinners and relaxed moments at the table. The set is in very good condition, with only a few slight signs of wear consistent with its age. The leather looks well cared for and supple, and the wood has been neatly preserved with respect for its original character. A stylish and rare set for those who love authentic Danish design: timeless, inviting, and made to be used. Dimensions per chair: Height: 78 cm, Width: 52 cm, Depth: 56 cm, Seat height: 48 cm, Seat width: 52 cm, Seat depth: 43 cm. Designers: Aksel Bender Madsen & Ejnar Larsen. Manufacturer: Willy Beck. Origin: Denmark, circa 1950s. Material: Teak wood and leather.
