Pedestal column 55 cm glazed ceramic

Here is a lovely white glazed ceramic column with elegant lines inspired by ancient Doric columns. Its fluted shaft and mouldings remove the heavy aspect that can sometimes be regrettable in certain columns. It probably dates from the 1960s to the 1980s. It can hold a lamp or a green plant, or showcase a vase or a piece of ceramics. It is in generally good condition, with no cracks or chips, but does have some minor signs of use: a few small stains, marks, and nicks, the most significant being a small chip in the glaze under the top moulding, which is not too visible where it is located. It measures 55 cm in height, 19 cm in diameter at the top platform, and 22 cm in diameter at the base.
