Set of 4 Design Chairs Rio Fröscher 1985 Postmodern Red Wood

This set of 4 designer chairs, model Rio, was produced by Fröscher GmBH in the 1980s. They embody the postmodern style of the 80s with their functional aesthetics and iconic geometric shapes. The structure is made of bright red enamelled metal, providing a striking contrast with the thermoformed plywood seat and backrest in light wood colour. The design features octagonal shapes for the backrest and seat, giving each chair a unique and recognisable silhouette. These chairs are stackable, reflecting their practical design and high quality of German craftsmanship. Each chair bears the manufacturer's label "FRÖSCHER STIFTFORM" as well as an order label confirming their production in 1985. The set shows light signs of use, consistent with its age and usage, visible on the wooden surfaces and enamelled paint. It is a rare and high-quality set, particularly suitable for intensive use.
