Antique crumb tray that can be used as a pocket emptier or fruit basket. Typical of the Napoleon III period: shell shape in black lacquered boiled cardboard inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Silver rim. Very bright iridescence of the mother-of-pearl inlays. It is in very good condition. No cracks, no snags. Patina of use. A few tiny lacquer losses on the handle. Truly a beautiful object! 26x30 cm.
