Vintage earthenware jug "Prisca" – Sainte-Radegonde, hand-painted

The charm of French craftsmanship from the 50s/60s at your table! I present to you this superb jug (or water pitcher) in faience from the famous pottery of Sainte-Radegonde (Touraine). It is the "Prisca" model, featuring a bucolic and timeless design, a stylised floral pattern in shades of cobalt blue, yellow, and green, entirely hand-painted (with the authentic "Peint Main" mark under the base). It bears the official "STR" stamp under the crown at the base, certifying its authenticity. The jug is in very good condition. The glaze has retained all its shine. One can simply note the charming original irregularities due to the artisanal painting and firing process, making it a unique piece. Please note: an old paper label has left a small mark under the base (visible in the photo). Perfect for serving your cold drinks, or to be repurposed as a large vase for a bouquet of wildflowers on a Scandinavian sideboard or a farmhouse table.
