Farm table

Wooden farmhouse table. Perhaps a work table at the base: papermaker or draper etc. Or canteen table. Monastery table. The table is majestic even if the floor space remains reasonable. It is longer (2.60 m) than wide (68 cm). The base is simple. Which makes one think of a piece of professional furniture rather than a dining room table. Around 1900. Found in the Hauts de France, on the Opal Coast a stone's throw from the sea. The table has just been treated and sanded. The patina is almost original. For about 10 people.
