Engraving of 1890 in a beautiful gilded wooden frame, taken from the magazine le moniteur de la mode. Created in 1843, le moniteur de la mode, which disappeared in 1913, evokes the elegance of the second empire and the third republic. Its fame is mainly due to the quality of the engravings of jules david, its exclusive designer for fifty years. Dimensions: 35 X 30.5 cm. Note: freckles and bend marks in the center.
