Large earthenware jug – Floral decoration and braided handle

Bring a rustic and authentic charm to your decor with this superb large vintage earthenware pitcher (or jug), entirely hand-painted. This piece of fine craftsmanship stands out immediately with its impressive height of 28 cm and its spectacular twisted handle in cobalt blue, showcasing true expertise. Its generous, rounded body features a bright floral decoration centred around a large daisy-style flower in blue and orange hues, framed by intense green foliage. The elongated neck elegantly flares into a pouring spout. In very good overall condition. The glaze retains a beautiful shine. Note some very discreet minor glaze skips on the edge of the upper neck (visible in the overhead photos), typical of old and handmade earthenware, which do not detract from its sturdiness or authentic charm.
