# Suspension Design Innermost × Timorous Beasties – Circa 2010. Original suspension design by the British company Innermost, featuring textiles by Timorous Beasties, the renowned Scottish design studio founded by Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons. Purchased directly from Innermost in 2010. This piece stands out for its remarkable play of transparency. Its exterior is made of textured ecru fabric, understated and elegant when unlit, revealing a spectacular baroque-inspired floral decor in rich shades of pink, red, and burgundy when illuminated. When the suspension is turned on, the interior pattern appears through transparency across the entire outer surface, completely transforming its appearance. The Timorous Beasties monogram is printed on the inner textile. A creation representative of contemporary British design from the early 2010s, combining textile research, bold patterns, and decorative lighting. Diameter: approximately 45 cm. Height of the lampshade: 30 cm. Suspension sold with its electrical system and cable. Excellent condition, no stains or signs of wear. With Innermost Limited having ceased operations, this model is no longer offered by the original manufacturer.
