Large Footed Bowl Vallauris vintage – Gérard Hoffman Signed HOF

Superb large footed bowl (compote) from the period, signed by the artist "HOF" incised under the base. It features a magnificent hand-painted decoration of cornflowers, matching the large deep plate also available in my wardrobe. Origin: Vallauris, France. Dimensions: Height: 19 cm. Diameter at the rim: 25 cm. Condition: The bowl is in very good overall condition. For transparency, I note slight original and usage defects (visible in the photos): At the base of the foot: a small original firing defect accompanied by a slight firing line (non-penetrating, completely smooth to the touch and with no risk to the piece's integrity). In the decoration: a small loss of glaze on one of the blue flowers. Under the base: a tiny, discreet micro-chipping.
