Pair of candlesticks

Antique brass or bronze candlesticks but so dirty that I have a doubt... More bronze I think. But suddenly to polish because come from attic and just dusted. I think they were painted because the gilding visible under the dirt is not identical on the two (last photos). These are two beautiful pieces worth renovating. Height 43 cm Width 25 cm Total weight 3.280 kg.
