A superb handcrafted ceramic vase made in France in the 1960s or 70s and hand-signed “Lézignan” on the base. Its slender, sculptural amphora shape with two handles is emblematic of mid-century French design. The orange/mustard glaze offers a deep, warm sheen, typical of workshops in the South of France during this period. The slightly darker, asymmetrical handles provide a subtle contrast and a very elegant decorative dimension. Pieces signed “Lézignan” are prized for their Mediterranean aesthetic, meticulous craftsmanship, and rarity on the current market.
