Naturalized ferret taxidermy

Cabinets of curiosities were rooms, or sometimes furniture, where "rare, new, singular things" were stored and exhibited, to use the definition of the literal: there was a motley mixture. The cabinets of curiosities marked a step towards a more scientific understanding of the world. Appearing at the renaissance in europe (studiolo in italian, wunderkammer in german), their collections, often open to the visit, subsequently formed the nucleus of museums, museums and botanical gardens that gradually replaced them. Good condition and extremely decorative.
