Old painting signed Carlo Cherubini, oil on canvas, 20th century.

Oil on canvas. Signed at the bottom right. The artist combines in a single landscape view the entrance of a villa (which he has painted in other works titled "Villa Cappello in Noventa Padovana") and a caravan: this element has also been frequently represented by him due to his interest in the life of gypsies. The artist from Ancona, who lived for a long time in Venice, is known for his ability to explore various subjects. The son of the Ancona painter Giuseppe Cherubini, Carlo stands out for his use of bright and luminous colours that characterise his painting style. The work is presented in a period-style frame.
