Whale tail stool, design by Polyte Solet, La Sterne

Superb sculptural stool made of laminated wood, designed by Polyte Solet for the publishing house La Sterne. With its organic shape inspired by a whale's tail, this unique piece combines the art of sculpture and exceptional cabinetmaking. The ergonomic, curved seat perfectly conforms to the body for true comfort, while the slender monobloc base provides a remarkable visual presence from all angles. The assembly of the wood strips offers a stunning play of grain and warm hues, enhanced by a varnished finish. Perfect as a side stool, end table, or a true decorative sculpture in a contemporary, raw, or vintage interior.
