Rattan rice storage basket also called ulbong. Used in the ifugao region by the indigenous peoples of luzon/the cordilleras. These jar shaped baskets were modeled after chinese ceramic jars of similar shapes. The handle was used to hang the baskets and protect it from rodents. Dimensions: Height: 27cm.
