Elegant antique oak side table dating from circa 1890–1910, most likely around 1900. The table features a rectangular oak-veneered top, a practical single drawer, four slender turned oak columns and a spacious lower shelf. Small brass collars at the bases of the columns add a refined decorative detail. The columns, shaped feet, lower shelf and structural supports are made from solid oak, while the upper top is finished with natural oak veneer. The beautiful grain of the wood is particularly visible across the top and lower shelf. The drawer has a traditional construction with a plywood bottom fixed from underneath with small nails and is fitted with a turned wooden knob. Stylistically, the table belongs to the Eclectic / Late Historicist period, with proportions and details typical of elegant European salon furniture from the turn of the 20th century. The piece has undergone a comprehensive restoration. The wood has been carefully cleaned and refinished, the structure is stable and the drawer functions correctly. It is ready to be used immediately. Perfect as a side table, occasional table, lamp table, small console or decorative display piece. Period: circa 1900. Style: Eclectic / Late Historicism. Materials: solid oak, oak veneer, plywood, brass. Condition: fully restored.
