1980s “Tivoli Gardens” Poster by Bjørn Wiinblad from Denmark

A beautiful, colourful framed poster by danish artist bjorn wiinblad in his very recognizable colourful style, made in denmark in 1981. This joyful piece of art would beautifuly contribute to any interior. The posters was designed for tivoli gardens, the famous amusement park in copenhagen / denmark, which is the second oldest amusement park in the world! Every year tivoli invites a danish artist to design the poster art for the coming season and in 1981 this artist was wiinblad. The image represents a colourfull jester holding a miniature version of the park! Wiinblad’s colorful style is really well represented in this beautiful piece! Signed and dated in the corner as shown in the photos. The piece remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
