Pair of golden metal chairs, Maison Jansen style, 1970s. Dimensions: Height: 93 cm. Width: 40 cm. Depth: 38 cm. Elegant pair of Hollywood neoclassical style chairs, made of golden metal with scroll decorations forming a heart motif on the backs. The slender, curved legs add a great visual lightness to the whole and recall the decorative creations of French design from the 1960s-1970s, in the spirit of Maison Jansen or Maison Baguès. The seats are upholstered in black faux fur, adding an original and contemporary contrast to the golden structure. These chairs can be used in a bedroom, dressing room, hallway, or as decorative accent seating. The very graphic design of the backs and the finesse of the execution make them particularly sought-after decorative pieces for glamorous or eclectic interiors. Period. Circa 1970-1980. Style. Modern neoclassical, Maison Jansen / Hollywood Regency style. Materials. Golden metal, seats upholstered in faux fur textile. Condition. Good overall condition. Some light signs of use and minor wear to the gilding consistent with age. Upholstery clean and immediately usable.
