This very colourful piece was originally used on the MS Volendam and designed by the famous Dutch artist Jan Snoeck (1927-2018). Crafted from high-quality ceramic in bright colours, it features a layer of tiles covered with organic shapes, arranged in colourful pieces. The vibrant use of colour and its playful style are typical of Snoeck's art. Framed in a gilded wooden frame, which creates a lovely contrast with the piece!
