Pink Loom Chest

Tloom-type chest, neck-shaped; it has kept its original color. It is in good condition, with however some gaps (see photo of the lid) and the color of the kraft paper that also appears (see photo) Lloyd loom is a technique developed by marshall burns lloyd in 1917. The principle is simple: kraft paper is wrapped around a steel wire to obtain paper fibers, fibers that are braided into mats on a loom. The latter are cut so as to dress a structure in wood, rattan, metal etc. Since it has no label, I cannot certify that it was manufactured by this factory. But it dates from the first half of the twentieth century.
