An important and rare set composed of a cabinet and matching chest of drawers designed by Angelo Gaggioli, produced in Rome during the 1970s. This set stands out for the extraordinary quality of the burl wood veneer, selected in large mirrored sections that create liquid-like surfaces, enhanced by high-gloss lacquer typical of sophisticated Italian productions of the time.A double-door cabinet and a four-drawer chest, coordinated through an extremely geometric construction and elegant vertical satin brass inserts, create a strong graphic rhythm. The golden bands define the volumes with remarkable compositional balance, interacting beautifully with the warm tones of the burl wood and emphasizing the monumental character of the furniture.
