Pair of Louis XV Bedside Tables Marquetry Rosewood Bronze

A magnificent pair of Louis XV style bedside tables, crafted in the tradition of the great French cabinetmakers of the early 20th century. The marquetry of rosewood unfolds in crossed veneer leaves forming a refined chevron pattern, with warm and luminous reflections. Each table opens to reveal three curved drawers, adorned with superb gilt bronze handles in the rococo style, featuring gracefully flowing foliage. The gallery top follows an elegantly contoured outline, while the tapered and curved legs finish with delicate patinated bronze feet decorated with acanthus leaves. The scalloped apron at the lower part charmingly recalls the codes of Louis XV in all their lightness. Beautiful overall patina, slight wear on the edges consistent with age, excellent overall condition. Dimensions: H 73 cm × W 30 cm — Weight: 10 kg each. This elegant pair, ready to find its place in your home, will bring a touch of history and refinement to a characterful bedroom. Price: €500 for the pair.
