Pair of Dutch modernist armchairs by Gerard Wijnen - 1950s "Bossche School" chairs in solid dark oil-grey laqué wood. Gerard Wijnen was a Dutch architect who worked on the same principles as Dom Hans Van der Laan. The form follows the function. Gerard Wijnen died in 2019.
