Pair of Dutch modernist armchairs by Gerard Wijnen - 1950s "Bossche School" chairs in solid dark oil-grey laqué wood. Gerard Wijnen was a Dutch architect who worked on the same principles as Dom Hans Van der Laan. The form follows the function. Gerard Wijnen died in 2019. This set is very rare and of historical importance in the recent history of Dutch design. From the same house, we also offer a set of four crème/off white armchairs. W 66 cm, D 60 cm, H 88 cm
