Painting oil on canvas - Jean Monneret - Chalutiers au Radoub - Honfleur 1959

Oil painting on canvas by the painter Jean Monneret (1922) and entitled "Trautiers with refit". Work from 1959 depicting a refit trawler in the port of Honfleur. The refit of the fishing boats was carried out in the Old Basin, facing the Lieutenance, at the foot of the steps that descend from the wharf of Baron Motard. The skippers worked on small wooden floating platforms on which they laid their fishing units to clean and trim them. Canvas in good condition, no holes, sold with its wooden frame. Canvas dimensions 72 x 59 cm and frame 87 x 75 cm
