Sandstone bird egg cup signed Jean Marie Delahaye Malicornes

Adorable egg cup in beautifully enameled stoneware, with an integrated saucer on which a little bird sits. This egg cup is signed underneath and after some research I was able to identify the ceramist, it is jean marie delahaye, potter since 1972 and based in vilaines sous malicornes since the 1980s. He still continues his work as a ceramist today but now only sells occasionally on artisan markets. It’s a very beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The glazing is very successful with multiple colors in cream, coffee, chocolate, caramel tones and a foamy appearance. The egg cup is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips. It measures 8 cm in diameter at the level of the cup, 4.2 cm in internal diameter at the level of the egg cup and 6 cm in height.
